KONG Radio listeners who won tickets to the Lilo & Stitch Kauai World-Wide Premiere were at the special screening Wednesday night, June 19, at Kukui Grove Cinemas

Even though the movie premiere was schedule for 7pm, some ticket winners, who supposedly are real "movie-buffs," started showing up around 2 pm, five hours before the movie was set to start.

"We came early to get good seats," an early movie fan stated; sitting on a lounge chair from home to ease their long wait.

With assistance from Kauai Humane Society staff, the KONG crew was able to get everyone in the cinema smoothly and in a timely manner.

Inside, door prizes were given away and a winner was selected for a special grand prize, a trip for 2 to Los Angeles and Disneyland. Kalaheo's Dustin Fujishige was chosen to receive the great giveaway.

Also at the premiere, Richie Gano of Lihue, the Hilo Hattie winner of a whole row of 15 seats for him and his family and friends to see the movie. Richie and the other 14 in his row made their way to the event after great dining at Gaylord's at Kilohana.
